These terms and conditions govern your participation in any Conference Design produced and operated physical or virtual event: meeting; webinar; summit; convention; or conference (‘the Event’), on behalf of the Event Host (‘the Host’). By registering for the Event, you agree to these terms. If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person participating is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing the registration on behalf of another individual you are warranting that you have made the participant aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.
Payment for Registration
Payment of the applicable fee for the Event is due within 7-days of submitting your registration. If you are registering within 90-days of the event you will be required to pay at the time of registering, using a credit card. If such payment is insufficient or declined for any reason Conference Design may refuse access to the Event and shall have no liability in this regard.
Currency and GST
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD$) and include GST.
Confirmation and tax invoice
Once you have completed your registration, you will be sent a confirmation email with a PDF tax invoice. Please ensure that your valid email is entered correctly on the registration form and check your junk mail folder in case your confirmation email(s) are caught by spam filters.
Essential information for registered attendees will be sent electronically to the email address that is provided at the time of registration.
Please include the EFT Reference shown on your Tax Invoice when submitting an EFT and email Conference Design the details including date, amount and your bank’s reference.

Credit Card Payments
Credit card charges appear as Conference Design Pty Ltd on your card statement. When using the online payment system credit card transactions will be processed directly by ANZ eGate and Conference Design does not store or transmit your credit card details. ANZ eGate is a secure and PCI compliant platform.
Your registration entitles you access to the Event applicable to your registration type. All other costs associated with your attendance shall be borne solely by you, and the Event shall have no liability for such costs.
The Host and Conference Design reserve the right to change any and all aspects of the Event, including but not limited to, the Event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venues, and times. Where the Event is entirely virtual, content may be recorded and may be accessible to paying registered participants for a period of time following the Event broadcast.
All intellectual property rights to the Event content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Event are owned by the Host, Conference Design, the sponsors, &/or speakers presenting at the Event. Participants may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks or other trade names appearing at the Event, in the Event content, or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the Event for any reason without the prior written permission from the Host.
No part of the Event may be recorded, reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronically or mechanically, including but not limited to video or audio recording, photographing, photocopying or any other information storage or retrieval system known now or in the future, without the explicit written permission of the Host.
Limitations on Use
By registering for the Event, you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share your access link and/or code, unless such transfer is granted by the Host or Conference Design. If the Host or Conference Design determines that you have violated this policy, Conference Design may cancel your access, retain any payments made by you, report you to law enforcement authorities, and ban you from future virtual events.
You acknowledge and agree that the Host or Conference Design reserves the right to exclude any person from registering for, or participating in, any physical or online/virtual event. In addition the Host or Conference Design may remove any person from the Event if, in their sole discretion, determine that your participation or behaviour creates a disruption or hinders the Event or the enjoyment of the Event content by other attendees.
The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out appropriate insurance.
Neither the Host nor Conference Design covers individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the Event or for theft or damage to belongings.
Any individual registration cancellation requests are subject to the cancellation policy listed below and as agreed to when registering for the convention. In regard to COVID-19, we continue to monitor advice from the Australian Government.
Registrations for physical or hybrid events cancelled up to 90-days prior to the event will be eligible for a full refund where the payment was made online by credit card. In all other cases, a cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations notified after 90-days prior to the physical or hybrid event will not be eligible for any refund, however, another person may participate in the Event.
Cancellations for virtual/online events will not be eligible for any refund, however another person may attend the Event in your place.
All cancellations for physical, hybrid or online/virtual events must be advised via email to Conference Design.
Conference Cancellation or Postponement
The Host and Conference Design do not accept any liability for losses incurred if the Event is cancelled or postponed due to an unforeseen occurrence or any other occurrence that renders performance of this Event inadvisable, illegal, impracticable or impossible.
An unforeseen occurrence shall include, but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; infectious disease outbreak, industrial disruptions, service provider failures, governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation; or any other emergency.
If the Event is entirely online and is terminated due to a force majeure occurrence before the first day of the Event, then Conference Design will reschedule the affected virtual event and your registration fee will be applied to the rescheduled event.
Where a technical outage/malfunction is the cause for a temporary or complete failure to broadcast the Event and it cannot proceed, the Event may be rescheduled to an alternative date or content will be made available to view online at your leisure (on-demand). Conference Design will make every effort to communicate with registrants regarding the technical outage/malfunction via the OnAIR portal or if the platform is unable to transmit communication, an alert will be sent via email, conference app or mobile text message, and posted to the Event website.
Limitation of Liability
The Host and Conference Design does not take responsibility for technical issues outside of our control, i.e. internet and power outages. Where possible we will supply backup solutions to avoid any prolonged interruptions, but this cannot be guaranteed if the cause of the interruption falls outside our jurisdiction.
Due to strict visa requirements, if the Event is a physical or hybrid event (not entirely online/virtual), persons participating from the countries listed below will not have their registrations and presentations confirmed until they have obtained a visa:
Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cóte d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo, Cameroon, Kenya, Somalia, Iran, Pakistan, Algeria, Libya, Egypt.
